Hema Malini Performs During Daughter Esha Deol's Wedding Sangeet

Hema Malini reportedly performed to her song Dream Girl at daughter Esha Deol's wedding sangeet at Hotel Lalit Intercontinental in Andheri, Mumbai on Monday, June 25, 2012.
The 63-year-old actress/dancer/politician was dressed in a nude, black and golden Neeta Lulla sari paired with a back baring blouse and polki jewelry.
She arrived solo at the event. Husband Dharmendra is said to have made a short appearance giving the photogs a slip.
Earlier in the day, Hema had said she wouldn't be performing, but apparently she could not contain the artist in her.
"I will not be performing tonight. Esha's friends and Bharat will be performing tonight," Hema had told TOI.
Hema performed to the song with backdrop dancers. Esha and the audience cheered for her through the act.
Groom Bharat Takhtani performed to Jumma Chumma and Maa Da Ladla. The rest of the family and friends danced to the songs from the films of Hema, Dharmendra and Esha, such as Tauba Tauba, Dhoom Macha De, Yamla Pagla Deewana and Dream Girl .
The color theme of the stage was red, black and golden; the bridal couple's lotus wedding logo lit up as the backdrop.
Today is mehendi ceremony in the day and a mehendi party at night. Esha and Hema will be dressed in Neeta Lulla while the groom will by dressed in a Simone Khambatta design.
