Priyanka Chopra on 'Barfi' Set

 Priyanka Chopra wrapped filming for Anurag Basu's Barfi on Saturday, June 30 and we have the photos showing her look in the film from the last day of the film's shoot.
Anurag Basu earlier shared a still from the film showing Priyanka and co-star Ranbir Kapoor in which she sported a similar look.
Priyanka, 29, started shoorting for the last schedule of the film in Mumbai soon after her return to India from abroad after promoting her recent release Teri Meri Kahaani.
On June 30 she tweeted:

"Last day of #barfii shoot! Will miss my team so much!!! Ending a film always takes away a piece of u..ESP this..very special character to me."
She plays an autistic girl named Jhilmil in the film and Ranbir Kapoor plays Barfi, a street smart but deaf and mute character.
South actress Ileana D;Cruz is the film's narrator.
Priyanka's is a deglam role; she wears matronly skirts and blouses and sports curly short hair. Not much has been revealed about her character and even the upcoming film trailers will keep her character in wraps until close to the film's release.
"Priyanka plays a very special character in Barfi, so we want to keep her mystery intact. In the first trailer, Barfi — played by Ranbir — will be unveiled. We don't plan to reveal Priyanka until the film releases," says Shikha Kapur, executive director, marketing, Studios, Disney UTV.
Back in February Priyanka told Zoom that she found her role in the film challenging, despite the film light hearted.
"For me it was a very difficult film. And if you have heard rumors that I was in my own space, it was probably true because it takes a lot time to become autistic. Kind of convince myself that I can do it, make it look as real as possible. So yes it has been one of my most difficult films," she said.
Barfi bows in theaters September 14. The theatrical trailer will be launched with Bol Bachchan on July 6.

According to a new report Salman Khan had a narrow escape himself at the accident site on Dabangg 2 set on Saturday, June 23, and the photog Ajay S, who continues to be hospitalized, has serious multiple injuries.
Total three crewmen suffered injuries but Ajay was worst hit.
TOI reports that the photographer damaged nine ribs, fractured his elbow at three places, and injured the pinna of his ear. He needed immediate hospitalization and later underwent surgery.
Ajay underwent one surgery on Wednesday to repair his elbow and the other on Thursday to stitch up the pinna of his ear. The ribs will need a long time to heal.
Ajay, younger brother of Salman's friend Munna S, was newly inducted on set for still photography of the film.
Salman is footing the medical expenses.
Here's hoping for no further accidents on the set.

I have been here due to a lot of hard work and its wonderful to know that people see me in that light,” said Madhuri, who was accompanied by her doctor husband Shriram Nene to Planman Media’s Powerbrands Hall of Fame awards held here last night.
Former Miss Universe and Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen was also honoured with the woman entrepreneur award for running her beauty pageant organisation, I Am She.
“This is the first time in 18 years in showbiz that I am getting an award for being an entrepreneur. I am very grateful. It has been a journey for me. I won Miss Universe in 1994, got to do my first film ‘Dastak’ as an actor and now I receive my first entrepreneur award,” the 36-year-old said.
The Hall of Fame rising star male and female awards were given to “Ekk Deewana Tha” actor Prateik Babbar and “Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl” actress Parineeti Chopra respectively.
“I don’t mean to show off but this is my 15th award this year and it sure feels great. Just a year ago I was not even planning to become an actress, always dreamed of becoming a banker but I guess destiny plays its role,” Parineeti said.
Veteran actor Tom Alter was honoured for his exemplary contribution to Indian theatre while celebrity chef Vikas Khanna was awarded as India Ki Shaan for his culinary skills.

The poplin long sleeve blouse has a multi-layer ruffle that shapes a face-framing collar. The fitted cropped jacket has an unexpected Chantilly lace back and tonal satin trim. The form fitting leggings added lengths to her pin and set off her figure.
She accessorized with coral Christian Louboutin pumps and light jewelry.
Her hair echoed the 1940s with a front victory roll. The sleek top and perfectly structured ponytail was reminiscent of a old times pinup girl.
She matched the dramatic hair with equally dramatic makeup: striking red lipstick, smokey eyes and wash of pink blush left us mesmerized.
We wondered if any other Bollywood style maven could have pulled off the bold styling. Nope! We don't think so.
Explaining the look, Sonam's stylist Tanya Ghavri told Sawfnews.com exclusively:
"The first thing we kept in mind when I styled her for the press con was luxury, chic, classic!"
"When we tried the tux we just knew that was it, it had the right amount of attitude, drama and was event appropriate."

Sonam and Abhay met at the event with a warm hug and posed cheerily together for photogs, quashing all rumors of a rift between the two post their first film together, Aisha (2010). The two will be soon seen in Aanand L Rai's Raanjhanaa.

Bejoy Nambiar's yet to be titled headlining Shahid Kapoor has got Sanjay Dutt on board in a villainous role.
"Bejoy is known to make edgy films and the lead antagonist was one of the most vital characters in the film. After much debate, Bejoy thought of Sanjay Dutt for the role and met him a fortnight back," an insider told Mid-Day.
Sanjay Dutt, reportedly loved his part and gave his instant nod.
The role has earned him a paycheck of Rs10 crore, says the insider.
Nambiar is guarded about the genre of the film. He is currently busy filming for David featuring Tabu, South star Vikram and Neil Nitin Mukesh and will start this film only after he completes that.
Sanjay and Shahid earlier appeared together in Mahesh Manjrekar's Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi! (2005) in which Sanjay plays a kind-hearted Yamraaj.
Sanjay is currently filming for Soham Shah's gangster flick Sher in Rajasthan, with Vivek Oberoi as the other lead.
Shahid will soon get busy with Maneesh Sharma's next.
With two strong actors like Sanjay and Shahid, the movie should prove to be HOT.

Kajol has been looking slimmer and more stylish lately, and it turns out that she is poised to make a comeback cameo appearance in Karan Johar's directorial, Student Of The Year featuring three new comers.
Kajol, 37, will feature in a song which is currently being shot in Mumbai, styled by Manish Malhotra, who is also the designer for the film's headlining pair.
"For the cameo, Kajol will be attired in a long, black glamorous outfit. Karan has always considered Kajol and Shah Rukh as his lucky mascots. So this time too, for his film Student Of The Year, he wanted Kads to do a special appearance and she readily agreed," a source told TOI.
The film is a joint production of Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan and features Siddharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in lead roles.
Kajol has appeared in all of Johar's past four directorials, including a special appearance in Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006).
Kajol's last featured in We Are Family (2010), which was shot during the early phase of her pregnancy. She gave birth to her son Yug in September 2010 and has since been reading scripts, patiently waiting for an offer that she finds compelling enough to leave her home and children and face the camera again. In the meantime, she has been doing what she really enjoys doing - reading books!

Deepika plays Veronica, a strong but dark individual in the film.
"Veronica is a super confident girl who flaunts her attitude. She is affable, passionate, and sometimes a fiery person, who lives life the way she wants to and not the way society expects her to," Deepika explains to the TOI. "She's had a troubled childhood, so it's her escape in a sense. Veronica has difficulty expressing her deepest feelings."
Deepika says she is like Veronica in the midst of people that she knows well, but very mellow and introverted with others.
"Keeping Veronica's style and body language in mind, I had to be in top shape. I started Pilates and changed my diet. Even while we were filming in London and Cape Town, I got myself a local Pilates trainer and worked out every night after shooting, no matter how late we finished. There were days when we would all go out for dinner and while everyone else was digging into their dessert, I would just sit and watch," Deepika told TOI.
"It required a lot of discipline. Today, after seeing the results, I feel like it was all worth the effort."
Deepika is currently filming for Abbas Mustan's Race 2 and she will reportedly have equally hot looks in the film, a bikini shot is likely too.

Katrina Kaif reminisces the fun time spent with Salman Khan on their first film together Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya (2005) because of the laughter they shared, and the way Salman made her feel comfortable despite being a newcomer.
"We had loads of fun while shooting. The scenes were so funny that we'd be laughing our heads off between shots and try to keep a straight face while shooting. Thankfully for us, the audience also found the film as funny. And it went on to become a big hit," Katrina told Mumbai Mirror.
Even though Katrina made her debut in 2003 film Boom featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Gulshan Grover, the film was a flop. She had a cameo in Ram Gopal Varma's Sarkar, but she tasted success with Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya in which she had a full- fledged role.
They went on to work together in Partner (2007), Yuvaraaj (2008), cameos in Hello (2008), Tees Maar Khan (2010) - a song with Salman and now the upcoming Ek Tha Tiger which headlines the two.
"Acceptance was important for me. I was still the outsider with no knowledge of Bollywood. Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya was important to me. Though later Salman and I came together for other projects, Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya was special. Perhaps because it was our first time together. Everyone associated with the project was very happy for me."
"It's very important to make a newcomer feel at home. Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya did that for me."
Soon after their first film together, the two became very close and though they did not admit it became a couple. They reportedly broke off sometime in 2009 but continue to be good friends.

Salman Khan and Abhshek Bachchan reportedly chatted like old buddies on set of Dabangg 2 at Mehboob Studios recently when junior Bachchan, doing a patch up shoot for Bol Bachchan at the studio, dropped by to meet Salman.
There was an accident on Saturday on Dabangg 2 set in which three crewmen were injured, which may have prompted Abhishek to check on Salman.
A source who witnessed the meeting told DNA:
"The crew knew that both stars are shooting for their respective films, but everyone was shocked when Abhishek came to meet Salman, who was busy in a shot. Abhishek preferred waiting for him till the shot was over. When Salman came to know about this, he at once went to meet him and while Abhishek extended his hand to greet him, Sallu went ahead and hugged Ab Jr. Then the two stars sat and were bonding like two old friends do when they meet after a long time."
After the meeting, Salman played the perfect host and walked AB to his car.
Though Salman and Abhishek have never worked together, Salman and Amitabh Bachchan have co-starred in several films and had shared a good rapport.
Relations between Abhishek and Salman were rumored to have become frosty after Abhishek married Aishwarya Rai.

Aamir Khan took to jogging to reach YRF studios for shooting Dhoom 3 as the traffic jam due to heavy rains and a Rasta Roko on part of a stretch on the way yesterday, Thursday, June 28.
The 46-year-old star, dressed sporty in shorts and a Tee, converted the ride from his Pali Hill home to workplace at Andheri into part of his workout for the day.
"At around 10.45 am, after being stuck in a traffic snarl for long, Aamir got off from the car and began walking. He was wearing a blue cap and purple T-shirt with shorts. There were two bodyguards tailing him with an umbrella saving him from getting wet. Pedestrians and the motorists were surprised to see Aamir wading through the water," an eyewitness told Mid-Day.
"When the traffic would move, he would get into his car but when things were at a standstill, he would start jogging till the car caught up with him."
Just as well that after a five day Mumbai shoot, filming will move to Chicago. Katrina Kaif, the leading lady in the film, is not part of this schedule.
Hopefully Kiran had some fresh clothes waiting for him at home. :)

Madhuri Dixit Turns Film Producer

Madhuri Dixit, 45, and husband Dr Shriram Nene are launching their own film production company very soon. The first venture to launch in 2013.
The production house is yet to be named formally, but the couple is already busy meeting various directors to finalize their debut project which will take off in 2013.
Apparently the production house was part of the couple's move to India in the fall of 2011. They started looking for office space and shaping up things in that direction as soon as they set foot in B-town.
Mumbai Mirror reports that they have already bought a 3,000 square feet dedicated office space which is in the building near Infiniti Mall called Maurya Landmark.
The Mumbai tabloid also reports that Dr. Nene is not going to quit his medical practice, but will be fully participating in producer duties along with Madhuri.
While most A-list actors such as Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt have their own production houses, in recent times there has been a new breed of actresses who started their own production houses. That includes Preity Zinta who is also acting in her maiden venture Ishqk In Paris, Lara Dutta who also acted in her debut production Dilli Chalo, Dia Mirza, and Shilpa Shetty.
Sounds like La Dixit is going back to her filmi roots. We can't wait to have a dekho of her first home production.
Currently busy with TV dance reality show Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa, she will soon begin filming for Vishal Bhardwwaj production Dedh Ishqiya and Soumik Sen's Gulab Gang, a woman centric film.
