Dharmendra, 76, and Hema Malini, 63, looked a happy couple standing side by side holding fresh flower garlands as they waited for the baraat at daughter Esha Deol's afternoon wedding at ISKCON Temple in Juhu, Mumbai on Friday, June 29, 2012.
The groom, Bharat Takhtani, arrived in a silver chariot.
Dharmendra looked summer stately in grey coat, white collar shirt and black dress pants. Hema Malini looked beautiful and resplendent in pink and orange Kanjivaram sari and a green embellished blouse. The look was styled by Neeta Lulla who also styled the bride and the groom.
Hema accessorized with a green pouch bag matching the color and work of her blouse, and traditional South Indian gold jewelry consisting of jhumkas, multiple statement necklaces, baajuband, bangles and a thick waistband.
She adorned her updo with fresh red flowers, wore dark lipstick, matching bindi and sindoor in hair.
After the wedding, Hema told the media that she is very happy for Esha; she will miss having her at home but is happy that she would be staying in Mumbai.
Abhay Deol looked dapper in a suit and arrived with his girlfriend Preeti Desai who wore an Anita Dongre Sari. The couple earlier attended the Sangeet ceremony on Monday June 25.
Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan came together. Amitabh wore a white kurta pajama and Abhishek looked nice in a summery green embroidered kurta pajama.
Rani Mukerji wore a pink and white embroidered sari and arrived solo.
Manoj Kumar looked nice in a suit and was accompanied by his son. Manoj bonded with Vinod Khanna who attended the wedding ceremony with his wife.
While Shatrughan Sinha and Sonakshi Sinha were a no show, Poonam Sinha dazzled in a pink sari and was escorted by both her sons, Luv and Kush, dressed in white kurta pajamas.
Age defying Vyjayanthimala, 75, was the show stealer in a South Indian silk sari in purple and orange; she accessorized with traditional gold jewelry from South.
