Akshay Kumar's 'Oh My God'

The first look poster of Umesh Shukla's Oh My God headlining Akshay Kumar was unveiled on Friday, June 29, 2012. It arouses interest being quaint and surreal.
Akshay posted the poster on Twitter with a caption: "Meet the mod-God!"
The 44-year-old actor plays a modern day Lord Krishna in the film. The poster shows Akshay riding a bike through the clouds. His clothes, bike and nearby clouds are all golden, and the sky a blend of blue and green.
The film is the debut production of Akshay Kumar and Ashvini Yardi's joint production house Grazing Goat Pictures .
An adaption of the critically acclaimed Gujrati play, Kanji Virrudh Kanji, Oh My God has Paresh Rawal playing a die hard atheist who challenges God after his antique shop is destroyed in an earthquake.
A Hindi version of the Gujrati play was titled Kishen vs Kanhaiya.
Umesh Shukla, director of both the Gujarati and Hindi versions is also directing the film. Paresh Rawal will reprise his role.
Akshay symbolizes God in the film.
The original script has been tweaked some making the film broader in perspective, says co-producer Ashvini Yardi.
The film will bow in theaters on September 28.
