Sonakshi Sinha Signed For Akshay Kumar's

Fresh off the box-office success of Rowdy Rathore, Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha will be seen together again in Akshay's Oh My God. The Sinha babe will do a fast-paced number which the filmmakers have not branded as an item song.
"Yes, we have just signed up Sonakshi," co-producer Ashwini Yardi told TOI.
Oh My God is a debut production of Akshay and Ashwini's Grazing Goat Productions. Akshay Kumar will be seen playing Lord Krishna in the film.
The film does not have a significant role for a female lead. Nidhi Subbaiah has already been assigned the part of leading lady.
Akshay, reportedly, recommended Sonakshi's name for the song scored by Himesh Reshammiya. If you don't already know, she is the daughter of yesteryear actor Shatrughan Sinha.
"She did not take long to say 'yes,' a source told the publication.
The song shoot will begin soon.
Oh My God is an adaptation of Paresh Rawal's popular Gujarati play Kanji Viruddh Kanji. The Hindi remake of the play is called Krishna vs Kanhaiya. Umesh Shukla, director of both the Gujarati and Hindi versions is also directing the film. Paresh Rawal will reprise his role.
Akshay and Sonakshi will both next appear in Shirish Kunder's Joker. The film is due for release on September 14.
They will also be in the same cast in a Balaji production, Once Upon a Time In Mumbaai Again. Filming will start in August.
