Asin Content Providing Just the Glamor

Asin acknowledges that her role in Bol Bachchan lacks depth as the film focuses on interactions between Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan's characters.
Asin plays a down-to-earth Sania Bachchan in the Rohit Shetty's directorial. Ajay plays body builder Prithviraj Raghuvanshi and Abhishek plays a double role and his characters are called Abhishek Bachchan and Abbas Ali.
"This is Ajay (Devgn) and Abhishek's film. I did it because it sounded interesting and I laughed during the narration itself. And that's pretty rare. Also, it's a contemporary remake of a cult classic from the 1970s, Hrishikesh Mukherjee's Gol Maal (1979). I'm glad to be part of this team," Asin told HT.
Asin says she is ok if only the male leads in her blockbusters - Ghajini (2008), Ready (2011) and Housefull 2 (2012) - are credited for the films' success and not her.
"I didn't come into the industry to be in history books. Every movie is a gamble for any actor and it's a relief when it turns out to be a hit. But I'm not the kind to shout about my achievements from the rooftops."
"If there are 100 people, there will be 200 opinions and not all of them will be positive. It's okay, at the end of the day, the numbers speak for me," says Asin oozing confidence in her work till date.
Bol Bachchan will bow in theaters on July 6.
Asin is currently filming for Ashish Mohan's Khiladi 786 in which she is paired with Akshay Kumar. The film additionally features Himesh Reshammmiya and Mithun Chakraborty.
