Katrina Kaif's Makeover in Yash Chopra's Next Will Cast a Spell

Katrina Kaif, born to a British mother and raised in London, may appear to be an odd choice as heroine for Yash Chopra's next, so the director has asked designer Manish Malhotra to ensure that Katrina casts the same spell on Indian masses as his past heroines like Preity Zinta, Madhuri Dixit and Kajol.
"Manish had been asked to dress her [Katrina] in a manner in which she looks glamorous, yet Indian," an insider told Mid Day .
The designer, reportedly, spent hours researching for the perfect look by watching past Yash Chopra films and the end result impressed the filmmaker.
"Yash Chopra and Katrina were both impressed with the clothes that were finalized," says the source.
Promotional stills of the film released so far show Katrina and Anushka Sharma, the second female lead in the film, dressed in western dresses.
Katrina is seen wearing short dresses in her two looks, enhanced with bright colored accessories - bright colored tangerine trench in one and a hot pink scarf in the other.
Shah Rukh is seen mostly clad in jeans, paired with thick quilted jackets.
