Aishwarya Rai looked breathtaking in a black Shahab Durazi churidar kurta at a diabetes charity dinner at Radisson Hotel in London on Friday, June 15, 2012.

The 39-year-old new mom, husband Abhishek Bachchan, and Jaya Bachchan attended the event hosted by Silver Star, a Leicester based charity to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Keith Vez as British MP, the longest run so far as parliamentarian for a person of a Asian origin. Vez is the founder of the charity.
Aishwarya wore a long sleeve kurta featuring embellished scoop neckline and cuffs. She paired it with a matching dupatta and churidar. The chiffon Dupatta was accented with similar embellishments as the kurta.
She accessorized with a black and golden box clutch and delicate jewelry consisting of stud earrings, sparkling bangles and a ring.
Center parted hair, styled in loose waves, framed her face.
She wore cat eye-liner, lashings of mascara, nude glossy lips and subtle blush.
This was the first sighting of the couple together since the birth of their daughter Aradhya in November 2011.
The couple posed with a wax statue of Abhishek's father Amitabh Bachchan, which was specially borrowed for the occasion from London's Madame Tussauds.
Amitabh Bachchan has been a long time international patron of the charity. Funds raised from the charity dinner will be used for the fourth mobile diabetes unit in Mumbai to be named Amitabh. The van will be handed over to Big B on his 70th birthday October 11 this year.
Prior to this event, Aishwarya made a solo appearance at the opening of Bulgari Hotel & Residences at Knightsbridge in London on Tuesday, June 12. Aishwarya used the time between the two events to go around the city with baby Aradhya.
