Squeal! The Spice Girls — the most popular girl group of the 1990s — reunited in London this morning, just ahead of the launch of Viva Forever: The Musical, a stage show based around the origins of the popular band.
This is the first time all five Spice Girls — Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Victoria Beckham, Melanie Chisholm and Melanie Brown — have been pictured together since their reunion tour in 2008. The ladies were joined by producer Judy Craymer and Jennifer Saunders, who penned the new production.

Viva Forever will feature chart hits recorded by the group during their years of chart domination, which began with their blockbuster 1996 debut “Wannabe.” The show is due to open at the Piccadilly Theatre in London’s West End on Dec. 11.
Beckham said the show would “be introducing a whole new generation to Girl Power.”
Halliwell chimed in with:
“We’ve all got children now and I think that’s something else that has united us. Our musical Viva is really about being a mum, children, family, joy and fun — and that’s what we have in common now, being mums.”
Chisholm added:
“Us girls, we have a long-standing friendship and we’re in touch and we see each other as often as we can so we don’t get to do things like this publicly very often. Victoria’s flying off, but we’re all going to see each other soon.”
