Kim Kardashian Sexy |
It's fairly recent that Kim Kardashian debuted her own celebrity scent, co-founded the D-A-S-H fashion boutiques, started a successful reality series with her family, and married NBA player Kris Humphries.
Before that, K-Dash was just another pretty socialite.
A half decade after her intimate video with former boyfriend Ray J made headlines, the star realizes its effect on her professional life.
When asked "Would you be where you are had there not been a sex tape?" by Oprah on Sunday's "Oprah's Next Chapter", she replied, "You know, I think that's how I was introduced to the world."
The video was the subject of legal action until the matter was resolved with Vivid Entertainment.
Kim, 31, stated that the tape "was a negative way" and that she needed to work a lot harder to motivate the public to have a real perception of her.
Refuting the story that she was behind the video's release, Kim confesses "humiliating the family" was always a concern. Family in this case, refers to siblings Kourtney, Khloe, Kendall, Kylie, Rob, mom Kris Jenner, and stepdad Bruce Jenner, who were also guests on the show.
When the video made its appearance, K-Dash went into a panic, and leaned on her mom, who told her they "can get through anything."
Kris Jenner remembers it as a "really bad day." According to her, "No mother ever wants to hear something like that." She could sense her oldest daughter was going through a lot of pain.
The Kardashian ladies revealed this while esponding to Oprah Winfrey 's question to Kim - "Would you be where you are had there not been a sex tape? - on Sunday's Oprah's Next Chapter.
At the end of the day, Kim says she has accepted the video and her short-lived union with Kris Humphries as life experiences.
"I have to live with the choices I have made", she admits. She also says that she "can't dwell on it."
Sounds like the reality star has done a lot of growing up!
Hopefully, her current relationship with Kanye West fares a lot better.
