Rihanna and ex Chris Brown were spotted at the same club at the same time yesterday, June 12; they left separately within minutes of each other.
Sources at the club tell TMZ that the former couple were in Avenue nightclub in New York City together for 30 minutes.
In January, the exes were spotted at Greystone Manor, a West Hollywood club, at the same time, triggering speculation that they were back together. However, no one saw them interacting with each other and Brown's rep later confirmed to TMZ that Brown was at the club with his current girlfriend, aspiring model Karrueche Tran. The rep also reiterated that Chris and Rihanna are just friends.
Earlier in January, multiple sources told Us magazine that Rihanna and Brown had been routinely hooking up. They "meet up very casually" the magazine quoted a source as saying. "She comes to see him anytime she's in L.A."
Rihanna and Brown started their reconciliation after the judge overseeing the case against Brown's for his February 8, 2009 assault on Rihanna lifted a restraining order against Brown that forbid to have any contact with Rihanna.
The former exes started following each other on Twitter in May 2011.
Rihanna seemed to have ended that in May after he released a remix of Kanye West's track TheraFlu with lyrics that were likely disparaging of Rihanna.
Following the release of the remix, Rihanna unfollowed Brown on her Twitter account. A little later, Brown did likewise.
