This mid-90s TV pilot about DC’s superhero crime-fighting group failed to be picked up for a good reason: all the characters looked like total morons. In this image, the Martian Manhunter looks like a chubby latex mess, the Flash’s costume seems to have cost less than a dollar to make, and the Atom does a great impression of a life-size action figure. These super-zeros look like they couldn’t handle a blocked sink, let alone a threat to world peace.
