A lot of the 1960s TV series’ camp appeal came from watching Adam West stumbling around in his gaudy purple and yellow costume while his gut threatened to spill out at any second. Holy love handles and nylon tights, Batman! Robin was his faithful sidekick in shabbiness, of course. A less than dynamically dressed duo.
