Abhishek Bachchan for the first time opened up and slammed Aishwarya Rai's baby weight critics by calling them insensitive and lacking grace.
Abhishek told DNA that even though Aishwarya and family do not let such negative talk affect them people should not cross line.
"I just think it's extremely insensitive and no one has the liberty to speak about her like the way they sometimes do."
"Yes, she's a public figure, but people forget she's also a woman and now a mother and there's a line that's not to be crossed. I don't talk that way about any woman ever and it's obviously not graceful for anyone to talk about her like that either."
Aishwarya herself had addressed the media attack on her look during her visit to Cannes in May and Abhishek reiterated what she had said.
"But may be that's expecting too much, so to be honest, we kind of not let it affect us at all. Like Aishwarya always says, 'negativity is like one drop in a huge ocean of positivity' and we'd rather be happy about the love and blessings we get."
Abhishek and Aishwarya recently made their first public appearance together in London since the birth of their daughter Aradhya in November. The two attended a diabetes charity dinner.
Abhishek will soon be headed to Chicago for filming of YRF production Dhoom 3, in which he reprises his role as Inspector Jai.
